CityPass Chicago: Attractions on the cheap. The CityPass Chicago is a booklet of admission tickets to five Chicago attractions on the cheap. Savings are up to 52% off retail admission prices.
I reviewed the prices for these attractions separately and this is a really good deal if you only want to see these attractions. If you want to see more attractions then the Go Chicago Card is your better bet. These passes are such a good deal I should have used them over the summer when I had family in. I didn’t know either of these passes existed and grossly overpaid!
You save time with easy access at most attractions. CityPASS booklets are valid for nine consecutive days beginning the day of first use. Visit the attractions in any order you wish.
Choose delivery option during checkout: Email voucher or ship ticket booklets. In Chicago, you have two options for accessing your voucher: Printable PDF Voucher or Mobile Voucher. Present your voucher on your mobile device at the first attraction you visit to receive your CityPASS ticket booklets (Mobile voucher redemption not currently available at Adler Planetarium.). Voucher must be presented in exchange for CityPASS ticket booklets within 6 months of purchase.
Your booklet comes with tickets to these seven attractions. You decide which five you want to see.
- Shedd Aquarium – VIP Entry
- Skydeck Chicago – Fast Pass
- The Field Museum – VIP Entry
- Museum of Science and Industry – VIP Entry OR 360 CHICAGO – Fast Pass
- Adler Planetarium – VIP Entry OR Art Institute of Chicago – Fast Pass
A CityPASS will allow you to skip many ticket lines. Look at the tickets in the booklet for entry instructions at each attraction. VIP Entry is a big deal at places like the Shedd where, in summer, the lines can take over an hour or two. Depending on the location you may run into a line when exchanging your voucher during peak times. It’s always a good idea to bring your ID (attractions may ask for it).
