Celebrate all things hot dog at the FREE Hot Dog Fest this weekend (wieners extra).
When: Friday, August 5-7, 2016. Friday-Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 11AM-8PM.
Where: Chicago History Museum, 1 block north of museum in tent at 1701 N Stockton Dr.
Admission to the tent for the bands and speakers is free. Hot dogs and food are extra and can be purchased as ticket packages here. Packages are $30, $60 or $120. Save up to 20% off if you order a food package in advance.
Individual dog dollars: $1 U.S. = 1 dog dollar:
- $30 for one Dog Pup deal, including 30 food-and-drink dog dollars (recommended for an individual)
- $60 for one Dog Team deal, including a total of 60 food-and-drink dog dollars (recommended for a couple)
- $120 for one Dog Pack deal, including a total of 120 food-and-drink dog dollars (recommended for a family or small group)
August 6 is the last day to purchase the packages. Individual tickets will be on sale on the day of event. Hot dog prices start at $6.50.
There were also be children’s activities with crafts, face painting and small carnival rides.
After entering the tent you can get access to the Chicago History Museum for $4 off or $10. If you really want to visit the Chicago History Museum they are having free days: Monday–Thursday, August 22–25; Monday–Wednesday, August 29–31; and Monday–Wednesday, October 10–12.
