Free seeds at the Hull-House seed swap

This is a city in a garden, yes? Maybe? Well, to help you do more and better gardening, the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum at UIC has established a seed library. You sign up for a library card, check out seeds, grow them, save some of the new seeds, and return them to Hull-House.

To get you started, Hull-House is holding a seed swap with demonstrations and workshops on Sunday, March 10 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It’s free, and you can learn all about city gardening with heirloom seeds.
