On Saturday, March 9, the Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse will be holding its Gardening Exchange. Used gardening tools, cooking implements, and books will be on sale (at great prices). There will be free demonstrations on such topics as growing microgreens, pruning, composting, and coffee roasting. (Yes, apparently you can roast coffee beans in a popcorn popper. Who knew?) The exchange is free, and homemade soup and baked goods will be for sale. The day runs from 10:00 am to 2:00 om.
