For art lovers, the Chicago summer season officially kicks off with Hyde Park’s beloved 57th Street Art Fair. The 77th annual 57th Street Art Fair is the first major art fair of the season, it opens on June 1-2, 2024.
Stroll through Hyde Park’s tree-lined thoroughfares and browse a diverse array of original art including glass, jewelry, leather, photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, digital arts, wood, ceramics and fiber art.
View the work of 180 artists and dance to the grooves of musicians from Chicago’s premiere blues club, Buddy Guy’s Legends. Food trucks will supply a variety of dishes including pizza, tacos, BBQ and sweet treats.
Children’s crafts and activities are also featured during this free event. The fair runs from 11 -6 pm on June 1 and from 10- 5 pm on June 2. Arrive early for the best selection and views.
