The Andersonville neighborhood’s historic Swedish roots will be on full display during the sixth annual Viking Pub Crawl down Clark Street on November 18, 2023.
Hundreds of revelers will don viking gear and grab a commemorative glass as they visit a dozen bars and restaurants offering specials for the the event. A scavenger hunt and costume contest are also part of the festivities. The pub crawl is Andersonville’s take on the traditional Swedish holiday of Morten Gas Day, where participants eat goose dishes.
The Andersonville Viking Pub Crawl runs from 3-6 pm and includes a commemorative glass, free appetizer, a free donut and drink specials. Check-in starts at 2 pm at the Meeting House Tavern. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased here.
