Annual Old Town Tree Lighting

When: Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 5:00pm-7:00pm Tree lighting 5:30PM
Where: Burton Place Park, 1501 N. Wells

The event is free but they ask that you bring non-perishable food items, winter outerwear for men and women, and household supplies/toiletries.

Schedule of events

Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa, apple cider and sweet treats from local businesses to all in attendance.

The youth chorus from Franklin Fine Arts Center will be on hand, belting their favorite holiday tunes and Christmas carols.

After some official bloviating by 27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett Jr. and 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins the tree lighting itself will occur at 5:30pm.
