The 19th edition of this exciting movie series guides viewers through Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Pakistan, China and Japan without leaving Chicago. View more than 20 films from around Asia. Special guest appearances feature stars of the movies including Chen Bo-Lin on March 20 director Albert Mak on March 21 and Michelle Wei on April 4.
For the first time, this year’s event will include a festival competition with 16 films competing for the Grand Jury Feature Film Award, the Best Short Film Award and the Francis Kwong Memorial Award which recognizes an emerging director. Movies are screened at AMC NewCity 14,
