The signature festival of the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture, the Barrio Arts Fest, returns to Humboldt Park on July 9-10,2022. Immerse yourself in the richness of Puerto Rican culture during this highly anticipated free festival on the grounds of the museum.
Dance to the rhythms of plena and bomba music, listen to folk stories, eat traditional dishes like pernil asado (grilled pork) and tostones (fried green plantains) and browse arts and crafts at this family-friendly event.
The festival runs from 10 am-5 pm on Saturday, July 9 and 11 am- 4 pm on Sunday, July 10. The galleries of the museum will be open during the festival so don’t forget to check out the new exhibits.
