For many neighborhood festival fans, the Summer fest season officially kicks off with the cover band glory of the Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival, set for May 23-25, 2025.

The 40th annual celebration of community and local musicians draws enthusiastic crowds to the streets near the Belmont Red Line station in the Lake View neighborhood.
Noted for a strong lineup of cover bands that perform on the main stage, the fest also features a second stage on Belmont with karaoke, drag performers and DJs. The events run from 5 pm to 10 pm on the 23rd and 11 am to 10 pm on the 24th and 25th.
Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation. Here is the music performance schedule:
