Jazz musician Audley Reed
Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood produced many of the city’s legendary music, literary and art notables, including jazz innovators like Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong and Nat “King” Cole. This legacy will be celebrated with the inaugural Bronzeville Neighborhood Jazz Fest on August 6, 2022.
Bronzeville’s striking brownstones and grand boulevards will serve as the backdrop for the free Bronzeville Neighborhood Jazz Fest, which will be located in the parking lot of Mariano’s, on Martin Luther King Drive, between 37th and 39th Streets, from 11 to 9 pm.
The impressive music line-up includes Audley Reed, Julia Huff, Willie Fultz and Reggie Foster. Local vendors will showcase their products and food trucks including Harlod’s Chicken and Anointed Appetites will serve tasty eats.
