Celebrate Earth Month at Trashy Earth Market

Earth Day and month draw attention to honoring the Earth and protecting all natural environments. An important way to do that is to decrease trash and the Trashy Earth Market offers the perfect chance for that with an artisan market of re-claimed goods on April 27, 2024.

Help promote zero-waste activities by shopping at the Trashy Earth Market, which supplies an array of sustainable products made from reclaimed materials. Browse through one-of-a-kind, home goods, planters, art, fashion and body care.

Reduce Waste Chicago will also host a reuse and recycle pop-up at the market, where visitors can bring unwanted items for reuse and redistribution. Check out their accepted items list here on what to bring.

Visitors can also bring unwanted clothing or textiles for the Cradles to Crayons program for homeless or low-income children. The Trashy Earth Market opens at Gallagher Way from 11-4 pm. Admission is free but registration is encouraged.
