CPL Celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month. CPL is hosting a variety of free programs and events that highlight the culture, heritage, contributions and achievements of folks in the LGBTQ community.

A hilarious, relevant and poignant collection of stories that connects issues around race, class, sexuality, age, gender and self-esteem. The play features the true stories of the performers, and the audience is encouraged to ask the actors about their stories and share experiences.

Pride Exhibit at Harold Washington Library Center 400 S. State, 3rd Floor
The exhibit The Library is Open offers a glimpse into the vocabulary of the LGBT community. Through a selection of 15 terms, this exhibition invites patrons to learn the lingo that many queer people use to show their pride. This exhibit will be available through the end of June.
