The fun and creativity of chalk art will transform Rogers Park’s Howard Street during the annual  Chalk Howard Street on August 24, 2024.  This free event hosts internationally renowned 2D and 3D artists from around the country.

Chalk Street Howard is Chicago’s only chalk fest and it returns live in and in person for the first time in three years. Howard Street east of the Howard Red Line station will become a lively canvas for noted 3D artists Amanda-lee Harris, Randy Segura, April Tolliver and Zach Herndon.

The art of 2D artists April Tolliver, Andrew Vickers and Asia Belle will also be featured.

Join the fun by purchasing a square to create your own sidewalk masterpiece. You can purchase a reserved 4×4 pavement square for $25, which includes chalk supplies.

Food and artisan vendors, interactive art activities and a dynamic live music line-up are also featured in this free, family-friendly fest.  Chalk Street Howard runs from 11 am- 8 pm.  Here’s the entertainment schedule:
