As the birthplace of house music, Chicago always celebrates and honors this influential art form. The Chicago House Music Festival and Conference will bring the music, history and culture of house music into focus on August 21-24, 2025.

The four days of free events will feature live performances by house music stars as well as dance parties and symposiums. The festivities kick off with the Chicago House Music Conference and Open House on August 21 at the Chicago Cultural Center. The conference runs from 1-4 pm and features panels on industry highlights with experts from around the world.
Head to SummerDance on August 22 at the Spirit of Music Garden at Balboa and Michigan for high-powered house beats to groove to. Dance instructions by Bravemonk will set the foundation for the fun at 6 pm. Music by Vince Adams and Lil John will spin from 7:15 with Disco Toni Shelton hosting the festivities until 9 pm.
Prepare to dance all day long at the Chicago House Fest at Millennium Park on August 23, from 1-9 pm. An exciting line-up of Chicago and international DJs will keep the party pumping.
Close out the fest with the Chicago House Music Festival Wind Down at the Chicago Riverwalk, 400 E. Lower Wacker Drive, on August 24 from 1-5 pm. Water views and skyline vistas will supply a laid-back finale to the high-energy fun.
