Chicago in Tune concerts
The City has created a new event called Chicago in Tune. It’s celebrating Chicago music and events will be held throughout the city with several events at the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. This event sounds like the annual Year of Chicago Music that’s usually held in late May-early June. All shows are free.

When: Gospel: Friday, September 3, 5:30–8:30pm
Gospel music event hosted by Jonathan McReynolds and Inspiration 1390’s Sonya Blakely and DeAndre Patterson. This concert will feature LaShon Brown; a celebratory music tribute to Rev. Dr. Clay Evans, Pastor Maceo Woods and ArchBishop Lucius Hall featuring The Carson Sisters, Nicole Harris, and Illiana Torres; and The Tommies Reunion Choir.

The Jazz Institute of Chicago present a concert featuring Ari Brown, Marquis Hill and Lizz Wright

A House music celebration featuring DJ Lady D, “Sanitize Your Soul,” a debut Gospel House Choir collaboration between Mark Hubbard and DJ Terry Hunter, and Roy Davis Jr.
