Head to AMC New City at 1500 N. Clybourn to view comedies, dramas, documentaries and romantic features that showcase the diversity of Irish lifestyles. Movies include”BP Fallon: Rock N Roll Wizard, Vol. 1,” about the Irish DJ and impresario who helped launch Led Zeppelin, U2 and T Rex, “Baite,” a murder mystery set in a small Irish lakeside community and “Life on Mercury,” which follows how money moves through and transforms communities.
The online program supplies just as much excitement with “King Frankie,” a drama about a Dublin taxi driver haunted by the ghosts of his past, and “You Will Die in Prison-An Irishman’s Hostage Story” about a man wrongfully arrested in Iran and held as a political hostage.
