The internationally acclaimed Chicago Jazz Fest draws music fans from all over the globe for the Millenium Park event but the fest also sponsors free neighborhood concerts, including the Elastic Arts Foundation on August 25, 27 and 28, 2024.
Head to the Logan Square neighborhood to enjoy an eclectic mix of jazz performers in the intimate setting of the Elastic Arts venue for the Chicago Jazz Fest Citywide series. On August 25, the Alejandro Salazar Afro Cuban Quintet featuring Diego Hedez takes the stage.
The group merges Afro-Cuban musical traditions with jazz improvisations for an unforgettable experience. On August 27, Tin, a trio of musicians who create original compositions that recall chamber music melodies.
