If you need to dress up for work, need something appropriate for a wedding, or are in a super preppy mood, the place to go is the Talbots Outlet in Park Ridge.
The store is bright and well-stocked, with goods for petites, misses, and women’s sizes. There are dress clothes, casual clothes, shoes, and accessories in a huge array of colors. I was looking for an outfit to wear downtown to meetings on hot days, and that’s exactly what I found – along with a sweater, pool coverup, and scarf at clearance prices.
And there’s parking!
My new greatest regret in life is that I didn’t know about this store back when I worked in finance on LaSalle Street. The selection and prices were that good.
