Chicago Pride Parade June 25. Last years parade had over a million attendees so be prepared for organized chaos!
When: Sunday, June 25, 2017 12noon. The parade lasts 3 hours. Events continue on into the evening.
Where: Parade starts at Montrose and Broadway, heads south down Broadway to Halsted, Belmont, Broadway and ends at Diversey and Sheridan.
Admission free. The weekend before is Pride Fest.
The parade is four miles long with people lined up 10 or more deep, crowded on balconies and jammed into bars and restaurants. Less crowded areas to view the parade are near the beginning of the route along Broadway between Montrose Avenue and Sheridan Road or further along Broadway between Belmont Avenue and Diversey Parkway.
Be prepared for anything more than 1,000,000 people attend. It’s a wild time of exuberance and celebration. Great people watching.
