Chicago streets open for outdoor dining - West Loop

Chicago streets open for outdoor dining – West Loop. The City will be closing select streets to traffic again this year to enable expanded outdoor dining. Sidewalk patios will be extended into the street and at some locations there will be a few communal tables set up for dining on carry-out.

Expanded outdoor dining will be available along West Fulton Market from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily between Halsted and Peoria streets, and also between , according to the West Central Association, which teamed up with the West Loop Community Organization for the project.

Dine out on Randolph Street – Closure on Randolph from Kennedy Expressway (700W) to Carpenter (1050W)

Dates & Times: Randolph is closed 11AM-11PM Daily. Days and times of operation vary by restaurant. You should always call before heading out because a restaurant may not have outdoor dining available due to weather, staffing, etc. Also depending on when you’re going you may want to make a reservation.
