The Chicago holiday season roars into gear with the 88th annual Chicago Thanksgiving Parade, which marches down the heart of downtown on State Street on November 24, 2022.
This free family-friendly event is highly anticipated because of the exciting showcase of talented performers from across the country and the joyful hallmarks of the start of the holiday season.
This year’s Chicago Thanksgiving Parade will be co-hosted by the actors Jen Lilley (Days of Our Lives and Royally Wrapped for Christmas) and Jesse Hutch (Batwoman, Dream Wedding). The parade will feature live performances by cultural groups including Ballet Folklorico Sones Mexicanos, Chicago Korean Dance Company and American Blues Theater.
The parade runs from 8-11 am and also features marching bands, equestrian units, floats, acrobats, inflatables and a special guest from the North Pole.
