Celebrate Latino theater and dramatic creativity at the eighth annual Destinos: Chicago International Latino Theater Festival for an entire month, from October 1 to November 2, 2025. , at theaters across the city.

The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance presents this anticipated annual event that features a wide range of Latino performing arts entertainment. Productions include award-winning poet and actor Jesus I. Valles’ solo show about citizenship, “(Un) Documents,” “La Jaula del Oro,” about a sancutaury nightclub for LBTQA+ immigrants and “Contra Ritmo,” a musical that follows an encounter between a mariachi musician and a ballet dancer.
Destinos will also host several world premieres, including “No Trailer,” an immersive sketch show that highlights fake movie trailers that target social, political and cultural realities.
