New Divvy rewards program. Divvy has a new rewards program called Blue Angels. You can earn points, toward rewards, by riding a bike from a crowded docking station to a station that is running low on bikes. As you accumulate more points additional rewards become available monthly and accumulate to lifetime status and rewards.
How it works
- Sign up to become a Bike Angel in the Divvy app. Rides from your connected Lyft app will still earn you points.
- Find a crowded station and check out a bike.
- Look for a station that’s low on bikes and needs a Bike Angel to dock a bike ASAP. A map in the app shows the number of points a ride from a crowded station to a low stock station is worth. The points on the map update every 15 minutes. Use your Divvy app to find bright pink high-points stations.
- After completing a couple of re-balancing rides, check the points in your Divvy account and look for an email about redeeming your swag.

COTC note: This sounds like if you don’t make it to the next station in 15 minutes and the app resets that you may not earn the points. However if a station is really low it seems unlikely that a ton of riders will show up to replenish it within 15 minutes.
New Divvy rewards program – Monthly Rewards
If you earn more than 10 points in a month, you’ll start to see rewards ready to redeem.
Every Bike Angels point you earn is added to your monthly and lifetime tracker. Monthly points will reset on the first of each month, but your lifetime points, never reset.
Bronze Basket Reward (10 points): Earn 10 minutes of ebike credit
Silver Spoke Reward (20-80 points): Free 1-week membership extension for every 20 points earned (80 points equals a free month)
Gold Gear Reward (80-200 points): When you reach 80 points, you’ll earn a $1.50 Lyft credit for every 10 points that can be used on any Lyft or Divvy ride (120 points = $5 credit)
Platinum Pedal (200+ points): At 200 points, you’ll receive 33% more Lyft credits for each Bike Angels point you earn. These credits can be used on any Lyft or Divvy ride.
Lifetime Badges offer additional benefits such as swag, bonus credit and more.
