DuSable Black History Museum celebrates Juneteenth, the oldest nationally recognized commemoration of the ending of slavery in the U.S., with an all-day Juneteenth Celebration on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Yoga, horseback riding, a farmers market, roller skating and special musical performances will be featured during this day of remembrance. Food trucks, kids’ activities and ceremonies commemorating Juneteenth will also be featured.
A vendor marketplace with over 80 local, Black-owned businesses will supply artisan goods, apparel, jewelry and art. The event is free and runs from 10-8:30 pm.
