Explore Chicago Collections is an online portal created in conjunction with the first Chicago Collections Consortium exhibit at the Harold Washington Library Center. The Explore Chicago Collections online portal is a collaborative source of information about the history and culture of Chicago.
Researchers, teachers, students and the general public can locate or access over 100,000 maps, photos, and letters at member institutions all over the Chicago area. Users have the opportunity to explore the collections by topic — from government, to everyday life, and beyond. If you have a question you can also submit it. There are research librarians available.
It’s super cool check it out.
