Factory tour: Half-Acre Beer Company in Ravenswood. Every Saturday (except major holidays) at 12:00 pm, the Half-Acre Beer Company offers a tour of its brewery. The cost is $15, buy tickets in advance OR at the door – this gets you: into the tour, 3 samples, a branded pint glass to take home. Reservations here.
Here’s the catch: you can’t make reservations. Instead, get their early and line up on Lincoln Avenue. Just be warned that if tickets are sold out in advance they don’t allow extra people on the tour. If that happens, you can go to the tap room and buy a pint, then come back next Saturday.
