Chicago area brewery tours. Chicago is a beer drinking town and we have some great breweries many of which offer tours. The days of free tours has passed but most are under $25. Tour lengths range from forty five minutes to two hours. All tour goers must be 21 or older with valid identification. Always check online or call in advance to confirm details such as tour length, availability, times and price as everything is subject to change.
Update 10/23/2021: I’m in the process of updating this post. Many locations don’t have tours up on their websites so I’ve emailed to confirm whether tours are currently or no longer available. Check back.
5 Rabbit Cerveceria & Taproom, 6398 74th St, Bedford Park, IL 60638, (312) 895-9591. “Cotorreo Cervecero” (or Beer Chat, si lo prefieres en inglés) takes place every other Saturday at the brewery as an intimate guided beer tasting limited to 10 people. Includes tasting of 3 beers with one of their brewers, who will give you a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration, stories and approach to crafting each of their beers. We will be rotating featured chelas, highlighting new releases, experimental pilots and the core lineup. Cotorreos include a guided tour of their production facilities and a souvenir 5Rabbit pint glass. $25 per person, tickets available in our online store.
