Experience the musical journey of the Black Diaspora during the thrilling Black History Month concert series: “Black History Concert Series: Voices of ‘Ase: Afrofuturism II” by Uniting Voices Choir on February 24, 2026.

The free concerts honor the tradition of Afrofuturism, which focuses on the convergence of art, science, technology and African history, with a performance that includes jazz, blues, spirituals, funk, hip hop and house in a joyful mix of musical genres.
This thrilling annual Black History Month concert series will showcase school program singers from all over Chicago who will sing and celebrate the culmination of their Black History 360 curriculum. Visitors will go on a musical trip through time and space, discovering the rich history of Black music along the way.
“Black History Concert Series Voices of Ase’: Afrofuturism II,” takes place at the Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Dr. at 11 am on February 24, 2026. Tickets are free and general admission but advance reservations are encouraged.
