Blues fans will get to heat up all winter and spring at the Blues & Beyond Jam Sessions with Grammy-award-winning blues drummer Kenny “Beedy Eyes” Smith on the first Wednesday of every month at the Logan Center for the Arts through June 5, 2024.
Immerse yourself in live jam sessions led by Kenny, “Beedy Eyes” Smith, son of legendary blues musician Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, who led Muddy Waters’ band. Listen to the next generation of blues musicians as they explore blues traditions and connect it to other music genres.
The Blues & Beyond Jam sessions run from 7:30-9:30 pm on the first Wednesdays of the month; February 7, March 6, April 3, May 1 and June 5, 2024. The sessions are free but are encouraged to purchase food and drinks from the Cafe’ or make a donation to keep the free programming going.
