Explore the diverse musical styles of Mexico at “Canto Latino: Creando Mole” a free outdoor festival that celebrates the sounds of Mexico including cumbia, ranchera and mariachi on September 30, 2023, in the Pilsen neighborhood.
Uniting Voices Chicago, formerly Chicago Children’s Choir, will perform selections honoring the Mexican pantheon, joined by local guest artists including rapper Pinqy Ring, DJ Oliver Fade, Ballet Folklorico de Chicago dancers and Jarochicanos band.
Canto Latino will also feature food trucks, interactive experiences and art installations. The festival runs from 3- 6 pm, bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a day of music and fun.
