The popular Chicago summer season just became sweeter with free Centennial Wheel rides every Wednesday through Labor Day. When the July 4th fireworks were ruined because of foggy weather, Navy Pier officials decided to make up for it with free rides for the rest of the summer.
Guests will be able to enjoy the weekly Wednesday fireworks with a close-up view from atop the wheel, which soars 200 feet into the sky. Tickets are typically $20 for adults and $18 for kids so riders will grab a great deal as well as amazing fireworks sightlines.
