When: FREE DAYS: Each Tuesday and Thursday in November, as well as every Monday and Tuesday in December, are FREE ADMISSION DAYS at Brookfield Zoo. Reserve these tickets as you would for any other day, but you will see a price of $0.00 for all admissions. This does not include zoo attractions, most of which are closed. Zoo admission must be purchased via our reserved timed-ticketing system to limit guest capacity. No onsite ticket sales will be available. Zoo map
Brookfield Zoo will temporarily close to the public January 1-February 28, 2021, with plans to reopen to the public on March 1, within state restrictions.

Free Days at Brookfield Zoo – 2020 Zoo Hours
Brookfield Zoo is open every day of the year. Please note that all indoor animal exhibits, as well as play areas, splash pads, water misters, drinking fountains, The Carousel, Motor Safari tram rides, and any indoor Attractions are currently closed.
October 26 – December 30 (non-Holiday Magic days)
Daily: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Holiday Magic (November 27-29, December 2-6, 9-13, & 16-20, December 26-31)
Daily: 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.*
*Please note that the zoo will not be open to guests prior to 3:00 p.m. on Holiday Magic days.
Regular zoo admission
Adults: $24.95
Seniors 65 and over: $19.95
Children 3 to 11: $17.95
Zoo admission and all available attractions are FREE for children 2 and under.
Zoo admission must be purchased via our reserved timed-ticketing system to limit guest capacity. No onsite ticket sales will be available.
Save money on pre-purchased tickets
If you pre-purchase general admission tickets online you save $1. Build A Ticket includes: Admission plus 4 attractions and save up to $5.Tickets.
Parking
Parking is $14 including tax. Metra has a Zoo stop. The zoo is two blocks from the Metra Zoo stop (Hollywood).
If you want to really save money you can park at the Metra Parking lot behind the Village Hall for $1.50. However, you will have to walk 1.3 miles according to Google. You could bring your bike I suppose. All other street parking around the zoo is permit only.

- You are permitted to bring in your own food, coolers, and wagons.
- You are permitted to dine in any restaurant that has available seating.
- You are not permitted to bring in any glass or alcohol.
- The busiest time is when school groups have their field trips from March through May just before spring break.
