Celebrate Latine culture in all its forms at the annual outdoor festival, Destinos al Aire, on May 21, 2023, at the National Museum of Mexican Art’s new Ray Castro Plaza in the Pilsen neighborhood.
The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance presents the pop-up event that features a wide range of Latine performing arts entertainment. Performers include stand-up comic Gwen La Roka, whose comedy special debuted on HBO Max, The Center of Peruvian Arts and Mariachi Perla de Mexico.
Destinos al Aire will also host arts and crafts vendors, an arts activation booth by Yollocalli and performance art with living statues. The family-friendly festival runs from 2- 5 pm and has free admission.
