Beginning Birding for Families
Spotting and identifying birds is a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors. Come learn which birds you are likely to see, good spots to visit, spotting techniques and more. Weather and time permitting, we will even take a trip to practice using our binoculars in Lurie Garden. We have some binoculars available on a first come, first served basis. Register
Little Lurie Gardeners: Singing Explorers
The Little Lurie Gardeners program is a 6-week series that offers children and their parents and caregivers an interactive exploration of the natural world through live music and movement in our a one-of-a-kind urban oasis in Millennium Park, where art and nature meet. Come prepared to sing, dance, and smell the flowers in your very own garden in the city. You are expected to attend all five programs but you only need to register for the first week. Ages: 12 months to 3 years old. Note: This is a series of six music and nature appreciation classes. By registering you are committing to attending all six. Toddler must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
