Celebrate the scary season with a visit to Lincoln Park Zoo for trick or treating among the animals at the annual Spooky Zoo event on October 19, 2024.
Stroll around the zoo and collect treats while supplies last. Kids can also enjoy interactive storytelling and live music on the Main Mall and hop on the Endangered Species Carousel for free rides from 10- 1 pm.
This free, family-friendly event attracts thousands of families from across the city so arrive early before the crowds get too big and the candy runs out.
The Spooky Zoo event runs from 10 am-1 pm on the grounds of Lincoln Park Zoo. After the trick-or-treating, stay for the Lincoln Park Zoo Fall Fest, which runs until 5 pm.
The Fall Fest supplies a pumpkin patch, strolling entertainers, animal enrichment chats and fall-themed photo ops for free. Rides on the Lionel Train, Fun Slide, Endangered Species Carousel and Bounce House require $4 tickets.
