Experience the beauty and dynamic rhythms of Mongolian music during the Lunar New Year Concert at the Chicago Cultural Center on February 11, 2024. This free event features the world premiere of Lei-Liang’s Mongolian Suite for Violin.
Listen to the beautiful melodies of acclaimed violinist Rabia Brooke as she plays the music of Chinese American composer Lei-Liang. The concert will also feature a performance by the Mongolian folk fusion band Tuvergen. A pre-concert Q & A with the musicians starts at 2 pm.
Honor the Year of the Dragon and absorb the gorgeous notes of Mongolian music from 11 am until 3 pm, in the Cultural Center’s Preston Bradley Hall.
