Most Chicago museums offer free admission days during the cold months of January and February when being inside a museum is a welcome respite from the blustery weather. For July 2023, there are a few museums that are offering free admission days for visitors to enjoy exhibits and cool relief during the heat of the summer. Don’t miss these July free museum dates.
The Field Museum of Natural History is supplying free admission for Illinois residents on July 1 and 2, 2023.
The Chicago History Museum is offering free admission to Illinois residents on July 4 and 26, 2023.
The Art Institute of Chicago is providing free admission to Illinois residents on Thursday evening, 5-8 pm for the months of July and August 2023.
During the entire year, Dusable Black History Museum and Education Center is free every Wednesday and the Museum of Contemporary Art is free every Tuesday.
