Free POP! Heights Park Grand Opening Celebration

Celebrate Chicago’s newest park and public outdoor plaza (POP!) at Pop! Heights Park on October 29, 2022, in the Roseland neighborhood.

Enjoy a day of festivities including live music, family fall-themed family activities, basketball, food from local restaurants and more at this grand opening event. The new park is divided into six activity zones including a community garden, a performance stage, a market space, a tree-lined seating pavilion, a basketball court and a walking/skating ribbon.

The free event runs from 11-3 pm. A ribbon-cutting program kicks off at noon, including the unveiling of the park’s mural by local artist Amoz Ben Wright. Advance registration is encouraged here.
