Chicago’s first Puerto Rican Christmas Market arrives in Humboldt Park with artisan goods, traditional gifts from 15 artists, and free workshops. The market runs every Saturday through January 6, 2023.
Hosted by the Puerto Rican Cultural Center, the Puerto Rican Christmas Market highlights local Puerto Rican artists and small businesses and celebrates Puerto Rican holiday traditions, like Three Kings Day, which honors the biblical three wise men. On December 24, 2022, families can take photos with the three kings and on January 6, Three Kings Day, they will hand out gifts to children.
Workshops like ornament-making and cookie decorating will be featured at every market. The Christmas market runs from 11 am to 6:30 pm on Saturdays through January 6, at !Wepa! Mercado Del Pueblo, 2559 W. Division St.
