Summertime in Chicago means lots of activities by the lake and there is no more classic option than Navy Pier. This year, Navy Pier introduces monthly Summer Night Markets, kicking off on May 31, 2023.
Head to Navy Pier’s South Dock for fun and a trip through time machines. Each free, monthly market features a different era as a theme. May 31 highlights the 70s, June 28 is the 80s, July 26 is the 90s and August 30 is the future. Visitors are encouraged to dress up according to the era and local small businesses will showcase limited-edition products with the month’s theme.
The Summer Night Markets will also showcase free live music, interactive art stations and workshops. The markets will run from 6 pm -9 pm each month, ending with a festive fireworks show.
