The reversal of the Chicago River’s flow is one of the most well-known engineering marvels in the Windy City. In the past few decades, the river has encountered a reversal of its general standing throughout the region and beyond with massive investments to make the water cleaner and its general surroundings more pleasant. During this walking tour, we’ll talk a bit about some of the improvements along the river in the Loop and beyond. Led by urbanologist and author Max Grinnell.
