Enjoy the sounds of the holiday on the biggest scale ever at the 49th annual Tuba Christmas at the historic Palmer House Hotel on December 18, 2022.
Tuba players from around the world will descend upon the Grand and State Ballroom in the Plamer House to perform a spirited concert of holiday tunes. Conducted by retired Colonel Michael Colburn of the U.S. Marine Band, the concert will join tubists and other musicians for an unforgettable show.
Tuba Christmas is free but requires registration at the Palmer House, 17 E. Monroe St.. which begins at 8:30 am. The concert starts at 11:30 am but arrive early because seating is on a first-come-first-served basis with registration. The concert runs for about an hour.
