Help Chicago restaurants by ordering food
I understand that many people are in a tight spot right now but if you can afford it and are tired of slicing and dicing, cooking and cleaning – Splurge for delivery. Many restaurants are waiving their delivery fees and you can get a discount from DoorDash (new customers only) and GrubHub (new customers only) or save money with GrubHub Perks.
If you can’t find a restaurant on DoorDash or GrubHub use Dining at a Distance to find if and how you can get deliveries from many Chicago restaurants. Dining at a Distance is a new aggregator or database of Chicago Restaurants (and other cities). I saw a segment on Chicago Tonight with Alpana Singh talking about the restaurant apocalypse and she mentioned this website. When I googled it and clicked on the link I got a nasty message from my anti-virus software. I just clicked through.
You can search by name or other criteria in the top right corner, sort by column, add filters in drop down menus and get a map view. It works quite well considering that they just created this in the last couple weeks. Please share this post with your friends. Thank you.
