How to track Chicago snow plows
The tracker has been disabled by the City as of late February.
We haven’t had much snow in the last couple years so I never published this. Now that we may have some significant accumulation check out the City of Chicago’s snow plow tracker website courtesy of our taxes and the Department of Streets and Sanitation.
To keep up with the latest news on deals, discounts and free events in Chicago, sign up for the daily Chicago on the Cheap newsletter. You can also follow us on Instagram, and Facebook.
Go to the website and then zoom into your location. The snow plow data will automatically refresh every 30 seconds. You can also type in your address and see a history of when snow plows have been on your street.
You can click on a specific plow for more information. Unfortunately you can’t keep refreshing the site to track the route of a specific plow in real time. The snow plow data will automatically refresh every 30 seconds. You also cannot contact the City to come and plow out your street or alley! If you really have a problem contact your Alderman’s office. Good luck and don’t have a heart attack shoveling!
