Jazz in the Court

The Hyde Park neighborhood celebrates South Side jazz traditions with free outdoor concerts in Harper Court on the first Fridays of the summer months.

This year’s dates are June 7, 2024. July 5, 2024, August 2, 2024 and September 6, 2024. Jazz in the Court supplies the excitement of the Chicago Jazz Fest in the heart of Hyde Park.

Tony Carpenter, Thaddeus Tukes, Hurricane Reggae band and Corey Wilkes will headline the outdoor shows. The concerts run from noon to 2:30 PM. Arrive early and bring a lawn chair to snag the best viewpoints.
