Lesson 1: Speaking Planely
Time to elevate your aviation vocabulary! Join First Officer Sanaz for a review of some of the most important words you need to know in the air—from the parts of a plane, to the different phases of a flight.
Test your new vocabulary with our activity sheet here
Lesson 2: How Planes Stay Fly
We can give you a wingtip or two about how planes fly. Join Captain Samer for a high-speed physics course that’s equal parts paper-airplane-making and aeronautics.
Learn how to fold some new styles of paper planes with our activity sheets here
Here’s how to get started:
Step 1: Print out the handy paper plane template here (pdf)
Step 2: Follow the instructions on the printout to make a paper airplane, and give it a JetBlue-worthy name (one that features puns, pop culture references, and most importantly, the word blue!)
Step 3: Record your plane’s best trick shot in flight, and get creative! Make it flip, shoot hoops, or even make your plane land in a destination you’ve created in your living room.
Step 4: Post it, tag @jetblue, and then tag 3 frequent fliers you can’t wait to get back in the air with to join the fun!
Happy flying!
