Discover the beauty of traditional Lithuanian Easter egg etching at a workshop on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture. The workshop runs from 1:00-2:30 pm and each participant should bring six hardboiled and dyed eggs to the session.

Learn the traditional wax-resist method of egg decorating with noted expert Sigita Balzekas. Enjoy light refreshments while diving into this fascinating cultural custom. This hands-on workshop is recommended for adults and children 12 and up.
Tools for the folk tradition will be provided and instructions on how to dye eggs with onion skins will be included with registration confirmation. A tour of the museum’s intricate Easter egg collection is included with the $20 registration for adult members, $25 for non-members and $15 for children. Purchase tickets here.
