$5 donation. There’s almost no information on the website except an entertainment schedule. There will be seven stages. Presumably there will be food. There is no list of vendors. There is a gelato festival. More info here.
If you want to check it out a couple blocks northeast is the Christopher Columbus Monument at Arrigo Park which came here all the way from Italy in 1892. Read more about it here. In a nutshell it was located on a building at 31 N. State until 1959 when the building was razed. Then it laid in a lumberyard until 1966 when it was relocated to the center of a thirty foot fountain in Vernon Park at 801 S. Loomis. In 1973 Vernon Park was renamed Arrigo Park after the Illinois state representative who raised the funds to relocate the statue.
