Glide under the sparkling beauty of the Chicago skyline at the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink in Millennium Park. The free rink is open through March 5, 2023, weather permitting.
Whirling around the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink under the city’s official Christmas tree is a holiday tradition for many locals. This year, the rink is open every day with free admission but online ticket registration is required. Skaters are advised to arrive 45 minutes before their registered skate times because the lines tend to be long.
Free skating lessons are offered from 9-10 am on most Saturdays and Sundays with free skate rentals. Skate rental for regular skating sessions is $16. The rink is open from 11 am- 10:30 pm every day.
